A Taste of the Good Life: MWatF’s #iloveMKH Event

Megaworld at the Fort #iloveMKH Event Manila’s top bloggers explore Megaworld at the Fort’s engaging lifestyle philosophy.     FORT BONIFACIO, TAGUIG – To understand excellence, you have to experience it for yourself. That’s exactly what Megaworld at the Fort had in mind when they invited Manila’s top bloggers to the #iloveMKH event. Centered around their philosophy—LIVE, WORK, PLAY, LEARN & SHOP—this occasion was the perfect avenue to introduce the complete community experience offered by the beautiful McKinley Hill township. “McKinley Hill offers a holistic lifestyle with all these elements right within the community itself,” says Nicole Adarme, Head of Marketing Communications for Megaworld at the Fort. “#iloveMKH is all about advocating a relaxed and convenient way of life. We want to offer bloggers an immersive experience; what it would be like to live, work, play, learn or shop in McKinley Hill. We want to inspire them to share what it’s like with others.” bloggers at Black Canyon Cafe Bloggers visited five lifestyle stations scattered throughout the township, each corresponding to an aspect of Megaworld at the Fort’s philosophy. Starting with the WORK station at Black Canyon Coffee, guests were briefed on the day’s proceedings while enjoying a tasty breakfast.  Blogger Jonel Uy was looking forward to the activities. “This is a really good start to the day,” he says. “Black Canyon Coffee is a great starter because it’s the ideal place for both breakfast and work.”   bloggers enjoyed awesome treats prepared by EnderunThe second leg of the day was an engaging gastronomic activity in the LEARN station at Enderun Colleges where guests prepared Beef Tenderloin, Pan Seared Foie Gras, Truffle Sauce, and Parmesan Risotto under the tutelage of Chef Martin Punzalan. “It was an amazing experience getting to cook in a modern, hi-tech kitchen and trying out a new dish,” shared Marjorie Pineda-Uy of Let’s Go Sago. “I can’t wait to taste what we made,” she added.   After sampling their culinary creations, guests were ushered on to the LIVE segment of the event, a grand tour of Megaworld at The Fort’s latest development, The Venice. “The condo is a good investment because it’s right at the heart of the township,” says Ted Claudio, a writer for Wazzup Pilipinas. “What makes it additionally convenient is how near it is to premiere spots like the malls and business centers.” bloggers at Dutchess Haven Nail Salon and SpaThe tour was followed by the PLAY lifestyle station, a pampering session at Dutchess Haven Nail Salon and Spa, where everyone enjoyed an hour of relaxation. Bloggers were able to select from a menu of services, from full body massages to facials, manicure/pedicures, and paraffin treatments. “I feel really happy to be included in this experience,” says Enzo Luna of Juan Manila Express.   McKinley ShowroomFinally, the group headed to the McKinley Hill Information Center, the last stop for the day, where the SHOP lifestyle station awaits them, in lieu of the Grand Canal Mall (Megaworld’s latest project slated for completion next year). Participants first went on a short tour of the model units at the showroom before eagerly competing in the day’s final challenge; Megaworld at the Fort’s version of “The Price is Right”.
